Reservation and service payment.

1. Choose the car rental period, pick-up and drop-off location. Enter the Discount code if you are a regular E-CAR customer.

2. Choose the car class and model.

3. Choose E-CAR additional equipment or additional services, if needed.

4. Decide whether you will reserve and pay for the car rental as a private individual or a legal entity. Fill out the reservation form. In the notes, specify the exact car pick-up/drop-off location (if you have marked 'A' or 'B' zone as the pick-up and/or drop-off location).

5. Choose whether you will pay by bank transfer (Invoice for E-CAR car rental services will be sent within one day during E-CAR working hours. Invoice payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the invoice), Swedbank Bank Link online payment, or VISA or MASTERCARD credit card.

6. E-CAR will immediately send you a reservation confirmation and an invoice (Invoice for E-CAR car rental services will be sent within one day during E-CAR working hours).

NB! The person in whose name the reservation is made MUST BE the person whose bank credit card has been used for payment, and who will use the rented car. If you pay by bank transfer, the car is considered reserved only after payment of the invoice, about which E-CAR will send you a separate email notification.

Cancellation of reservation.

Car reservations can be canceled by filling out the reservation cancellation application in the E-CAR Reservation system. Car reservation cancellation will be free of charge if the cancellation application is sent 7 (seven) full days before the original car reservation time. If the cancellation application is sent later than 7 (seven) full days, but earlier than 2 (two) full days before the original car reservation time, E-CAR will withhold a reservation administration fee of 40% of the total anticipated car rental service fee. If the cancellation application is sent later than 2 (two) full days before the original car reservation time, or if the Renter does not show up at the specified car handover location and time, E-CAR will withhold a reservation administration fee of 100% of the total car rental service fee.

Distance contract

In this online store (www.e-car.lv), the seller SIA 'SOL 1', Reg. No. LV 40003582484, legal address: Zemitāna iela 9, Rīga, LV-1012, Latvia hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person making the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, from the other side, enter into the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the service (car handover for rent) according to the Buyer's order.

Delivery and payment procedure

The Buyer places the service order through this website, specifying the type and quantity of the service to be ordered (including additional equipment and services, if needed). The Buyer has the option to make payment for the service using the payment tools embedded in the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the seller and sent to the Buyer by email corresponding to the order. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature. The Seller ensures service delivery (car handover for rent) according to the place and time chosen by the Buyer, which the Buyer has indicated in the online store reservation system.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the service by filling out the reservation cancellation application in the online store reservation system e-car.lv/cancel-reservation/

Service (car reservation) cancellation will be free of charge if the Buyer sends the cancellation application 7 (seven) full days before the original car reservation time. Data processing

By entering the necessary information when placing an order for the service (car reservation), the Buyer confirms that they are aware of and agree that their provided data is used for the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and perform the service delivery according to the laws of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the specified email.
